I am the Chair of the Photography program at The Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University. Please click on their link for information regarding the college, its programs, and curriculum.
Each summer I teach alternative photographic process at the workshops listed below. In these workshops we essentially go cover-to-cover on my book and have a huge amount of fun. I teach at The Maine Photographic Workshops, and the Santa Fe Workshops, every summer. The first week of the MPW, Santa Fe, and Anderson Ranch Arts Center are introduction to alternative process classes and quite similar.
At MPW I also run an Advanced Alternative Process Workshop where alumni of my other workshops, and new experienced students, can work on specific processes and portfolio development. This class is also a good refresher as I always re-demonstrate processes. Also at MPW… I teach, with Craig Stevens, The Photography Teacher’s Workshop… for those who teach or are planning to.
Please check the workshops listed for information regarding their ambitious and excellent offerings. I teach every other year at The Center for Photography at Woodstock (an intensive 2 day workshop) and at The Anderson Ranch Arts Center in Snowmass, CO.
